PRE-WALK INFO: (If supplied) Walk leader's description of start point/general information about route.

Next Sunday’s walk starts from the hair-pin bend just north of Levisham Station (GR SE 820 916). When Trevor Ford and myself pre-walked the route last week, the grassy area on the bend, where we have parked in the past, was fenced off for re-seeding. However, there’s plenty of room on the grass on the right of the road, as you descend from Levisham village, just before you get to the bend.

The walk will be a “figure of 8”, so you can join us for just the morning (5.5 miles), just the afternoon (4.1 miles), or all day. The afternoon walk, although shorter, is the more strenuous (lots of ups and downs). There’s a smidgeon of mud on both. If you are coming for the afternoon only, please be ready by 1pm.
